Like the Syrah Reserve dining table, the Vinsanto Reserve is built of giant staves reclaimed from 12,000 litre wine barrels that date back to the 1930s. The top of the Vinsanto Reserve consists of barrel staves orientated so that the sides that were on the inside of the wine barrel are visible. This means that the table surface is alive with the colours of the toasting of the barrel during its manufacture nearly 100 years ago, and the stain of the red wines that were matured inside it.
Given the limited supply of the antique barrels that are used for the manufacture of the Vinsanto Reserve, each one is a limited edition. Its shape is particularly user friendly as the lack of corner-mounted legs means that guests can be comfortably seated all the way around it.
